I was wondering how much resistance the leads add to a current reading, and on a small flashlight I know it's negligible, but I replaced it with thicker, 14 guage, and shorter wire. On my P7 light which I direct drive and replaced the pill leads with thick 16 guage and soldered the contact piston to the switch spring, all in an effort to reduce resistance, it previously measured 2.6 amps on a fresh 18650. High but I always thought it should draw a little higher. I now measured it with my new and improved leads and on a fresh 18650 it's actually reading 3.1 amps with 3.8 volts at the led. I wonder at 11.78 watts how much lumens is output, if it's c bin, then even at a conservative 75 lumens/watt this is 883.5 lumens. Close to 900, so can a 900 lumen label actually be credible in this case?
