Hey Guys,

I am working on more of these lights this week.

We hope to have them available to you soon.

Thanks for all of the photos etc. We are really excited to offer these.

These are really awesome. I hope to be able to snag an E1 during these runs.

Are all the neutral versions going to be Nichia219 LEDs or can you offer it with a LMH H3 drop-in with neutral XP-Gs for the extra lumens?

What is the voltage range for this light engine?
Will it run at regulated/full output on a single cell in the e1?

Thanks.

All planned E1 are XPG2c/219n only. Making an XPG2n version would require stopping production until such boards could be produced. This would push remaining availability back to November.

E2 supplies are better, making an XPG2n version easier, so more likely. But still not anytime soon.

Used the E1E extensively in industrial site in Miami today (well just outside Miami), so ambient temperature was pretty high as was the humidity inside a paper mill. Ran it on high a few times as I clicked up too quickly. I could have easily have used it in medium - I only realized it was in high as after a few minutes it started to get pretty warm - as I would expect in high. So medium is fantastic, high is fantastic +++, - but do you really need to run it there for that long? Great light. Great tint / CRI. A mill employee was using a light my company had given away. I had to bite my tongue becayuse our customers liked them - but.......

Great job guys!

EG, is the bezel removable or is it not recommended? I was thinking of putting an E2d bezel on the triple copper.

ALSO, is the lens stock or is it UCL? Just curious :)

New to CPF but not new to SF (having used there products since their inception) I too would love to either get my hands on both sizes of OR's "E" series customs or have them mod my own. I have read all of the posts under this topic and saw at least one or both of these questions posed but did not catch an answer (your eyes go when you get to my age along with other parts). 1: Does OR have a contact phone number and 2: can OR mod any of my personal "E" series lights that I own? Being a Cardio-pulmonary specialist and having a trip coming up the first of November to Chengdu, China for the entire month it would be great to take a quality American made product to waive under the noses of my Chinese counterparts in the hospitals there (and believe me when I say that they drool over great quality the same as anyone). I have subscribed to the insider and watch this post with great anticipation. Great lighting means everything to many in the medical industry. Wish we had had these in 1972!

Welcome Ghostwalker54! You can email directly and they're wonderful to work with :) Their email address can be found on the OR website, good luck!

Thanks! I did that and have conversed with D but never received an answer back on mod'ing one of my own. Very nice people though. I'll keep watching this thread and wait for the next Insider to come out. My long hours and heavy patient load hampers my ability to watch the thread and and check my emails. I'll hope for the best knowing that there are a thousand or more people waiting anxiously (just as I am) for the next run to come out.

The bezel is glued in place.
We do not recommend trying to remove it.

The Lens is Stock SF glass

Can I custom a UCL before they are built and glued? I can prepay for the light if that's OK?

The Glass size is 22.55mm x 2.67mm.
We do not have a source for this size UCL.

Moddoo, is there anyone out in the marketplace that will custom cut glass for these lights?

Doing it at all economically requires hundreds of units, beyond the scope of this project, which is based on discontinued (impossible to get more) flashlights. Pulling out all the stops would require starting from scratch, providing both scale and control over all parts.

Those E1's look really sweet. Don't know if I will be able to resist the next run.

And thank you for taking the time to round up the E series lights to do this!

Haven't been able to show much love for the E fans and had to do something before they dissapeared!
