Exactly, same technique I use. I use a Dremel in a Dremel drill press. Yields excellent results. IMO, next best thing to a lathe.
I tried rinsing the shavings with water like Beretta but no matter how I do it I always get water spots. I've tried drying it with compressed air as well. Now I just use compressed air and no water. I think I get water spots because of the hard water. I've got soft water at home, never tried and I assume I won't get any but the compressed air is sufficient enough.
