Wow... amazing how a thread can get hijacked... Anyhow, sent it back to Hillsborough NC yesterday. I'll post here or a new thread with the outcome.

Monday, Light shows up on my front porch. Sticky note on case says, Fix, Warranty." All is good now.:)

Even tho the light failed, Im really glad for you that Olight did their part to fix it under warranty. Lights are never gonna be perfect.

No infomation was offered as to the cause of the issue. It was not replaced. It appears to be the same light and body as was sent. (The little rubber plug for the charging port is still missing.) It works now. That's all I am concerned with, but I, too, am curious. I will see the head guy in June in Atlanta (BLADE show). I'll ask him then. I have bought at last count 7 lights from him over the last 3 years, so he knows me.
