Daughter - Reverse voltage failure

Well, after carrying my Raw NS for over a year, my daughter flipped the battery, and turned it on. The LED actually fell off the circuit as I was checking it out.

I hope more pills are available for this light, as its my favorite I've ever owned.

Do I need to order a new reflector for the light also???

Why would you have to replace the reflector?

Thanks!! I thought maybe the LED had changed since I bought it, and a new reflector may have been required.

Why not just get a new 'whatever you had on it before' LED and solder it onto the board you have ???

It's rather difficult to center LEDs perfectly by hand, and the Lummi Raw isn't very tolerant of off-center LEDs.

If you had the flashlight from new at just over a year, it will be an X-RE emitter, which are the same as Rob still supplies, so a new reflector should not be necessary.
