Michael said its adjustable but just enough to get a defined focus at any distance

I always loosen the head right before it falls out to get the furthest throw. The beam is not focused when it's tighten all the way

I actually wondered if I could use it as a "regular" flashlight for a walk etc. however I infer from your answers that this is not possible unless I find a frosted lens that fits?
