I was boxing up my Jetbeam for sale and I rediscovered that it came with a detachable lanyard.
I remember seeing it when I first got the light and not thinking much of it. I've changed my opinion and now I think it could be quite useful. I tend to like lanyards for going on walks or when I know I will be using the light for a while. However, many times I use it, I just want to put the light in my pocket and not worry about a lanyard getting snagged on something. Being able to quickly screw on/off the loop is pretty handy and the little piece that gets left behind isn't enough to get in the way.
Two questions:
Anyone else use detachable lanyards? They tend to come with USB drives but not on flashlights (aside from this particular example).
Anyone know where these exact ones or something similar can be obtained?
