Hi guys, Made a thread a few weeks back about what light I should buy. I ended up going with the EagleTac D25LC2 with the upgraded Cree XM-L2U2 LED which should put out a 850 Lumens.

I called Goinggear and they said that the one I received has already been upgraded and they(EagleTac) just added a sticker/kept the same box. Nothing personal to him but that sounds somewhat fishy to me. Wouldn't the label say it HAS the upgraded LED, not that you can "Upgrade for free"?

Here is the one I ordered:

They list the same light, with the older LED here for $9 Cheaper

Here is a picture. The upgraded version was $10-15 more depending on where it was bought. Is there a way to tell which LED I received...as in are they marked internally? Thanks everyone!

That's pretty common from what I've seen of the eafletacs. And goinggear is good people. I'm sure you got exactly what you ordered.

You can also just look at the LED. The XM-L has lines across the die, the XM-L2 does not. Also the XM-L is on a green board, and the XM-L2 white.

Great, Figured I was OK but just wanted to check. The guy I spoke to was very nice and good CS as far as I'm concerned. Shipping was extremely fast considering it was free. ($49+ orders ship free).

Thanks again guys
