difference between old and new style SF e2e

Hello everyone:
I am looking at lapolicegears.com for an SF e2e. They are showing
some "left over" old style ones. Based on the picture, the only difference I can tell is the position of the clip(Actually, I like the position of the older ones). Besides that, are there any functional difference between the two?

Unaryunix, there is an even newer version than those that are out. Go to .surefire.com, click on personal lights, then click on the E2E, E2O, or E2D.
