They are very much around, I have the 400R on my wife's bike, and the Daytime red on my bike. They are AMAZING! Even the 400R was visible from my car from several miles away in daytime conditions when I was meeting up with her at a check-in point during a race. How does the daytime red compare to the famous designshine tail light?

I have not been able to test them side by side, still on a wait list for a DesignShine. It is about half the lumens of the DS, which is still amazing.
