Hi I am new in this hobby and I would like to make a diy led cree flashlight.
I have ordered the following parts.
Cree XM-L2 T6-1C 10W 6500K 1052LM LED Emitter
4* AMC7135 2-Group 3/5 Modes LED Flashlight Driver (Nanjg 101-AK-A1)
20mm 30-Degree Optical Lens for Cree XML T5 / T6 / U2 LED Emitters
Driver Pillar w/Emitter Slot for Flashlight DIY
Aluminum Orange Peel Reflector for Cree XM-L Emitter

do you believe i need something else to make proper job or should I be careful for anything else you recommend?
thanks

Using a 4*AMC7135 driver for a XM-L2 emitter will not be driving it at its max capability.
It can be driven up to 3A, so a 8*AMC7135 would have been a better choice.

Btw, what is the host that you are using?

Other than the obvious wire/solder/flux, the only thing I can think of that you're missing is 'thermal grease' to make contact between the pill (pillar) and the emitter star.

The 'optic lens' and the orange peel reflector are probably in conflict. I think you'll choose one or another. If you go with the OP reflector, you'll need a plain round glass lens on the end.

If you don't already have a digital multimeter, it'll be useful for a variety of tasks.

For batteries, assuming lithium ion, I'd go for protected and name-brand (panasonic, sanyo) from a reputable vendor. (Not ebay.) Lots of info here about battery/charger safety.
