Does anybody sell binned Emitters or Stars?

I'm doing some mods and need a reliable source of binned emitters and stars. There isn't much on Ebay right now. Any body know a secret URL?

And another thing, is it possible to safely remove an emitter from a star and have it still work? Never tried, but curious! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/help.gif

If you take a star and desolder the power leads going to the emitter from the star, you can then place the star in a vice, or use two pairs of pliers to bend the star. The emitter will pop off. It's always worked for me.

Oh, Wayne at the Sandwich Shoppe sells binned luxeons. I think he has R2K's right now. The ones I've seen have been bright and white.
