Dorcy Mod Question

I have a question about the mods that can be made to the Dorcy AAA board. The added cap. that is referenced....is it a polarized or non-polarized cap? Anyone (Doug S.) know which type to install?

They are non-polarized. I recommend 10uF/6.3V ceramic 0805 case size with X5R dielectric. Digikey has some made by Panasonic for around $0.50 in a qty of 10.

FYI, if you use a ploarized cap, negative(minus) is toward the outside of the board, and positive is toward the center. I use 10uF caps pulled from old pagers.
