Why is the maximum safe current draw for cells rated in "C" and not Amps?
What is "C" and what is its mathematical relationship to Amps and Watts?

thats because any battery pack / individual cell is different,
C is the capacity of the individual pack/cell.

f.e. if the current would be named "2 Amps",
for an 14500 Li-Ion that were 2.7 "C",
for an 18650 Li-Ion only 0.75 "C"

So "C" is the unitless ratio of current draw / cell capacity ?
