Durability of the CPF edition AAA?

Since it is a type iii hard anodized finish I assume it is as durable as the grey finished lights, any owners out there who can confirm this?

I have heard adding color to HA will make it a bit weaker but I do not know for sure.

Mine has had pocket duty since I got it, and still looks great. My 2002 CPF Edition looks better than my original first-run AAA.

Of course, if you're that worried about it, you could choose not to buy it, and leave more of them for the rest of us. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hahaha.gif

I would assume the colored anodizing is as durable as the natural, which is very tough indeed. However, wear will be less noticeable with the natural grey anodize since it's closer in color to the bare aluminum underneath.
