So I was out shopping with the wife at a local grocery store today and happened on a 4 pack of AA duraloops on closeout. Their regular price was $14.99 and had them on closeout at $7.99.. I got the only pack they had left.

Seemed like a good price...was it?

I'd say so, I consider about $10 for a 4-pack to be a decent retail price for Eneloops.

Apparently Duracell is introducing new NiMHs so I guess the old duraloops are getting blown out... fine by me!

I got two 4-packs of AAAs at Target for $3.65 but all the Targets are cleaned out... otherwise I'd be in full on prepper mode...

Yes! $15.oo for a pack of 4 is about average. $9.oo instead is a very good deal.

I got three of the AA 4 packs at Target and paid $3.65 plus tax, for each. Those were the last three at the one store and the Super Target near me, had nothing.

One can get genuine Gen 2 Eneloops for $10 shipped, per 4 pack, so I don't why anybody would consider Duraloops for more than that, unless somebody needed them on the spot.

Anything less than $10 with tax, would be a good deal IMO.
