I know this driver gets brought up alot. Some people have luck with it...others don't. I took some measurements today with a high precision clamp meter and fluke multimeter so I thought I'd post the results.
The first run of tests I did right away. The second run I did about 5 minutes later. The schottky diode got a little warm but not too bad. Actually, some of the resistors got pretty warm.
