DX 30mw Misaligned

Hey all, my DX True 30mw laser came in last week, and I have been playing with it ever since. At one point I noticed some blooming, most likely due to dust on the lens, so I decided to try to blow it out. When I turned it back on, I noticed that the dot had shifted position and that the blooming was still there. I then took a look at the beam and saw that it was coming out at a slight angle. Now that I think about it, maybe it came like that, and I just didn't notice, but I'm pretty sure the dust wasn't there. Picture attached. Any help greatly appreciated.

All my lasers come out at a slight angle too. Some are better than others, but none of them are perfect.

The way DPSS lasers are made most of them emit at a small angle so that is not a really big issue. As for that "bloom" you are talking about - that is most likely being caused by the laser not being aligned correctly and not emitting a TEM00 beam. There is very little you can do about that unless you get the unit serviced or replaced.
