e1e makeover

hey all
i bought a kl4 today on a whim as i planned on getting a kl1. I put it on my e1e and I love this combo. Sure its brighter on my 2 cell host but it is amazingly bright and white on the one cell. This has to be my new all time favorite light.... though my A2 is always up there. But for edc purposes this kl4/e1e/clickie combo is great. Thanks to all of you for posting these great ideas. Up next a mcgizmo 15 ohm dual stage kit. Got to go play with my light in the garage now.

It's really a nice combo! I put an Aleph tailcap with a 15 ohm McE2S on mine so I can use a BP "Micro" clip through the hole and hang it from a lanyard attached to my belt loop. I don't have to worry about losing it that way.
On "low" it's just right for walking in the dark and not blowing away your night vision, and a wall of light is just a button press or twist away.

that is my next mod except on my e2e. i have not heard anything but the highest praise fo the L4 head. how close of an anno match to your e1 is the l4? congrats on the new toy!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/happy14.gif

So the KL4 fits right on the E1E? And what clicky tail are you using? I don't see one for the E lights.

Rackness- The anno matches as well as on the L4.

Powernoodle- the KL4 does screw right onto the E1E, and most will work fine. The clickie tailcap for the "E" series is the Z57.
