E2 & KH1 vs X5

Has anyone done any trests or can they jsut tell me how the output of these compares please??

The KL1 on e1 or e2 is quite a bit brighter with more of a "spot" type beam. the X-5 is less overall output and more of a flood like beam. I would tend to use the KL1 outdoors and the x-5 indoors.

My E2-KL1 is noticeably brighter than my friend's X5 (maybe 30%?) and that's when the X5 has fresh batteries. However for the price the X5 is an excellent light and appears to be very well made.
