I just received an E20 from TW and it came with a clicky, is this the norm or am I just lucky? I think I like it although it was confusing at first. Doug /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I think someone posted that Surefire is gradually changing to the clickie on all the Executive series lights.

On page 16 of the 2003 catalog they state that the clickie will be phased in during the year on the Executive Series Lights. Larry.

Doug, you're just one lucky guy! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

That is the way the executive series are coming now from the factory, I should know. I was at a show this past weekend and someone wanted a E1E and he opened it and when the tailcap was twisted the light didn't work. Push the tailcap slightly and it would work. I thought man the light is defective. Opened up 2 more and the same thing. Finally found one with the old style tailcap and sold that one. Then finally realized it was a clicky. Didn't realize they were coming out yet, but they are on all the new ones. Frank if you are reading this, the 3 I tried were not defective, duh!
