There's been several mentions of various McLux turboheads, but nothing offered on a large scale yet. The PM6 reflector is winning a lot of fans here, so I'm wondering if an adapter along the lines of the e2c would be possible. It would need a slightly smaller outer diameter, and from examination of the McGizmo e2c I have here, it may not be possible. In addition to the outer threads for the head to screw down into, it would also need threads on the inside for the lamp assembly/module thing to screw into. I prefer this module system to the current McLux system where the head, emitter, and circuit (if any) are all in one unit.

Here's a quick mock-up:

One problem: on the 1x123 body, the clip will be in contact with the head. However, this is an issue with the regular e2c adapter as well.

I hear there's a customized Pelican M3 out there somewhere...in Asia?

I think an adapter for putting the PM6 head on a minimag tube may be more realistic. You woudn't have to worry about accomodating a module. The minimag brass color is almost exactly the right size, it just needs a slightly smaller inner diameter, and then just needs to have threads tapped on the inside to match the minimag's threads (easier said than done, from what I understand, due to the MM "triple helix" thread) and on the outside to match the PM6.
