EagleTac M2XC4 beam question

Hello,

I see the EagleTac M2XC4 being described a thrower. Can it really be a thrower with three Cree LED's? How do you think the beam shape would compare say to a Olight M20? What about a Jetbeam RRT-2?

Along those same lines, how do you think the beam shape AND throw at its second power level, 420 lumen, would compare to the Olight M20 or the RRT-2?

Well, given that each of the three reflectors in the M2XC4 are roughly the same size as the single reflectors in the M20 and RRT-2, I'm not sure why you would be concerned about the M2XC4's ability to throw well. The beamshot in the post linked below is not of the specific lights you mention, but probably approximates a comparison between the EagleTac vs. the other two single emitter lights fairly accurately:

Take a look at this post. He says the M2x gives up the ghost after 300 ft.
