I'm having a very difficult time deciding between these 2XAA lights. It appears the main difference is the Q5 emitters used in the 2 lights with the P10A2 offering 220 lumens vs. 195 for the P100A2.

For those who have used both lights is there visually a difference in the brightness and throw?

Build quality and design are quite similar but the advertisements indicate some improvements and new features in the P100A2, and considering it's about $20 less in price it appears to be a bargain.

Any other differences that could effect a buying decision? This will be my first EagleTac light and I'm looking forward to seeing if they are as good as the reviews state.

I say go with the P100A2.

The difference in brightness is minimal or unnoticeable, and the P100A2 uses the XP-E emitter which allows better thow.

According to Selfbuilt:

Max Throw
P10A2 - 4650 lux
P100A2 - 7150 lux

And he also said....

So, that's good enough for me. I received mine today.
