eagletac t100c2 broke!

i dropped my t100c2 today and it's doing funny things! it fell head first about 24" onto a vinyl floor, and turned itself off. now it won't turn on unless i bang it against my hand, and then it flickers like a strobe or goes out. i've lubed it, changed the battery, etc. i've edc'd this light for a few months now and i love it- please someone help!!!

The quickest diagnosis you can make is whether or not the problem lies in the switch. Take the tailcap off and short the bare metal end of the body tube to the end of the battery with something conductive. If it works normally, the switch is loose/broken. If it still flickers, the problem lies somewhere else.

Other than this problem, how do you like the T100C2?

Try dissembling the head and see if anything is loose.

Make sure that the ring that is used to switch modes (on the back of the head) is not damaged. If you send Eagletac an email then they will solve your problem if you can't figure it out yourself.

i think i fixed it i took it all apart again and cleaned everything with deoxit, and now she's shining bright again:twothumbs
