EC2 Reflector Modification

Hello all!

First post on this forum so hopefully I picked the proper forum. I did search a bit but with little luck.

My question is can a Nitecore EC2 (or any explorer series) by modified in such a way that I can "diffuse" the beam pattern a bit by installing a custom reflector.

I really love this light and the spottiness of the beam is the only thing that annoys me.

If you can replace the reflector, you can put an Orange Peel reflector in it. It wil smooth out the beam.

What about a diffuser that goes on the inside or outside of the glass flat?

If you can get a second reflector, or aren't too worried about ruining the current one, then you could also try sputtering.
