I picked up a free accessory this week:

I wanted it to customize, but so far all it does is tell the computer to standby. I wasn't expecting the cool green LEDs, that's the best part about this accessory. They ramp up and down in a smooth manner, much slower and smoother than my glotoob in ramp mode. I keep it on the floor pointing down and it makes a good night light. Otherwise, it lights up the whole room.
I'm not sure whether the software that comes with the accessory is necessary to use the product. Does anyone else have this?
