I've been using a 62138 Osram bulb in a 4D mag , quite a bit different form factor for this one 
4 x Sony 18650Vs , AW Incan driver and Fivemega Gen2 reflector in Mag head.
Larger head can be used of course , won't fit in the Maxpedition though.
It's not so obvious when looking at the elephant just how short it is.
The blue Mag is a 2D.
I had not planned to use the maxpedition for the elle , but it's quite a good fit.
