Hey everyone,
Recently I've been trying to figure out just how much percieved light comes out of certain flashlights, and what I found is that the most useful for me was to use OTF ( out the front A.K.A. actual ) lumens and candela combined to try and figure out how the beam will look like at night.
For example a HoundDog will not look that signifcantly brighter inside than a M61N, eventhough it has twice the lumens, or even the M61N will light up the room better, but if you take them outside the difference will be much more significant.
So I begin listing some of the lights I know the output of, and figured I'd invite you to add to the list:
I used OTF, stabilized ( not on turn-on ) lumens wherever possible.
