Hey maybe this is a stupid thread , but I was searching for the old ones and could not find.So last year I offered my dad a set of 4 AA and 4 AAA eneloops , I did the break in on the Maha and then gave them as a present. This was on 2010 xmas... he used them until more less february 2011 when he told me he lost them and the charger I gave him ... yesterday I was searching something with them and we found them!
I then realised they where not used for more then 1year and put them on the maha for a discharge.... the AAA gave from 500 to 570mah.. and the AA are still on discharge! I dont even know if they where fully charged before lost so... impressive!

Discharge on AAA was done at 400mah and AA is being done at 500mah.

Hello Art,

Quality cells are fun to use. They are also fun to loose and then upon finding them finding out that they are quality indeed. :)

I really like the Eneloop cells.

My step dad has one of those ton-of-LEDs in parallel flashlights that run on 3 AAAs. He uses regular alkaline cells in it. It was nice showing off how much brighter the flashlight was when I put 3 AAA Eneloops in it, since they can maintain voltage under much higher discharge rates. It seemed at least twice as bright with the Eneloops. They weren't even freshly charged ones.
