I was looking at one recently...not a bad looking light.
I opened the bat compartment, and a 4AA cartridge slid out...turns out the AA bats are in parallel!
perplexed, I opened the front of the light, and sure enough, the bulb was a 2.4v 0.92A krypton.
went on the Energizer website, and found the light...rated at 22.5 lumens, and boasts a pretty good runtime.
are they using the parallel bats to allow more amp flow ala the Surge?
anybody own one of these lights?
