I try to change charger and found some chargers make more efficiency than many timer charger. So try to change charger might better output than change batteery to more capacity.

Most flashlights will love you for feeding them nimh, especially if it is one that really sucks down batteries and you have to replace them often. Nimh will give you 2-5 times run time and after you charge them 5-10 times they will pay for themselves and possibly even your charger.
If you read on the incandescent bulb packages, most bulbs are rated at 1.2v/cell, a bulb for a 6v light is usually 4.8v rated so the 1.2v shouldn't be any problem at all. I would use nimh in all but the more expensive lights and then consult with their website to make sure they can use them. A very few of them I have heard have problems with nimh, most of them being modded direct drive luxeon type LED lights from what I have read on this forum.

Before these and for other applications check out the Sunday paper Wallgreens flyer for their brand I have been using the for years with no problems a couple of times a month they sell for about .25cents AA & AAA C and D cells .50 cents each. Actually, you could get better performance with the 1.2v NiMH cells than you will with the Alkalines. The reason that some direct drive lights hava a problem with NiMH cells is that the NiMH cells have less internal resistance than alkalines; therefore, they deliver more current. I also don't think that the NiMH batts drop voltage under a load the way alkalines do. 2300mAH cells should give you a nice runtime with very good brightness, as compared to alkalines.
I've had these Energizer NiMH 2300mAH batteries for several months now, and I am *very* happy with them. They were quite a significant improvement over my Rayovac and Panasonic 1800mAH batteries.
I think the better charger should consider than find hi capacity battery. My friend use the Sanyo Charger with 1800 mA which make for long runtime than 2200 mA which charge by china charger.
In your openion, which charger is best for Hi capacity of NiMH .? Because some quick charger is make a lot of heat to battery and cut of when it getting hi temp. So it might be not full charge to battery. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thinking.gif
I don't think you can do better than the Energizer NiMHs with a Maha MH-C401FS.
Maha has a newer charger out, but it doesn't have 4 independent channels. It is faster and smaller, and has the conditioning cycle like the previous 4 cell 2-channel charger the MH-C204F, but I don't want to go back to charging cells in pairs, and never use the fast setting on the 401 anyway.
radellaf, I also try to find the independent channels charger with automatic cutoff when battery full. Sony chager has the specification to do that and could monitor battery level each channel too.
I've had the CCrane charger for four months now and when I need to charge one or more batteries this is the first one I grab for. I do like the feature that the charger is a parallel charger and will charge all cell evenly to the same voltage and can pull up weak cells using the other batteries and the charger circuit.
And the charger easily fitting all size batteries is nice too.
Playboy...how long have you had your charger? I remember on the CCrane web site they said they had redesigned the charger but the ad didn't say specifically what was redesigned. Of course CCrane wouldn't tell all the information. I think that is what I read-a redesign. So I bought a redesigned charger. Mine has held up all these months and I've used it daily. D-cells are a very tight fit but with a little fist hammering the cells fit.
Maybe CCrane can replace your charger under warranty?
