For those of you using the Energizer USB charger, have you had any software issues with the free download software? It installed fine and the charger's indicator light is denoting that its charging, but the software claims that the "Charger Unplugged." Any ideas why, or possible solutions that have been found?

Although I eventually uninstalled it because it seemed more of an entertainment item than a critical application, the software worked well for me Buck91.

If you haven't already done so, perhaps try re-downloading then un-installing and re-installing the software.

I would also suggest using a different USB port to test the re-installation.

If this doesn't work, perhaps Energizer can help.

Their toll-free numbers are to the far right on their contact page:

Well, I'm not that bright... Let windows finish its install wizard and now all works well :D

1. install software (uninstall if already installed, uninstall device also if installed from start->my computer-> properties -> hardware -> device manager in order to be everything clean)

2. plug the charger

3. when windows installation wizard pops up select to install the drivers from your location ("C:\Program Files\Energizer UsbCharger") which is where software is installed

4. keep going, accept warning for unknown software etc etc ...
it will work immediately

Since then I've been through another computer and two OS's. I no longer install, doesn't really offer any benefit!
