Does anyone know how much it would cost to buy just the case for the elite?

Yes, $10 is the price for taking care of that. I need to send mine in for that service too. I kept getting water leaks and somehow managed to overtighten the screws and crack the case.

Mine got cracked also and they replaced it under their warranty. They suggest only torquing the screws enough to just compress the gasket.
