A bit off topic but I'm hoping one of you experts could help me. I have a game cam that takes 6 D batteries and when new, they're a hair over 9.6 volts. I also have a solar power panel with a built in 2.4 aH 12 volt battery that is used as a supplement power source.
My issue is the solar power panel has only a 10' long cord and where I place the cam, I can't get the solar panel located in a sunny spot to recharge. Could I add a 10', 15', or 20' extension cord that would allow me to locate the solar panel closer to a better spot for recharging? I'm concerned about line loss but I don't think there is much to begin with - I'm just not sure. Thanks.
