I wanted to post a response I received from Nitecore regarding the fix to the EZAA. I posted it here since there are threads in the review and manufactureres forum and I thought it would be seen by most easier if placed here.

From Nitecore:

"It's the low mode output too low, we are fixing this currently."

I'm glad. I am definately going to reorder.

Thanks for the update, regulator. I might have preferred they kept the low level and did something about the efficiency. Might feel different if I'd had one to try. Still on board, anyway, but an announcement of LF2XT availability might change that.

i wonder if that means higher output on low to match the lower runtime or same output and longer runtime or something in between.

i think they should shoot for the conxxion x2 specs. 100lumen for 110 min and 4 lumen for 70 hours.

edit: correction,, x2 is 1hr not 110 min. not sure where they got that number(based on review)

+1. Regardless it will be a nice light even if it gets the advertised 15 hours on a AA.

I am with you on the LF2XT though, a very nice low low. Lower than a D10 or ConneXion X2.

I just received the older LF2 Cree model and I love it. The LF2X would be a step up but I think I will wait for the LF2XT and just buy that one so long as they kept the minimum to .2% still. .
