Fantastic new HID light (yeah, right.)

Searching eBay for HID flash* and this came up.

I actually found this light a few days ago on eBay myself and said BS. It's probably just a regular blue LED it has to be /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

It only claims to be a HID 'type' (meaning color) light. No more halogen bulbs because it is an LED.

I hate when people use a trickery of word play.

I tried to complain to eBay about the use of HID in ads for cheap blue tinted lights.
There used to be people who responded to such complaints but it seems an impossible task now.

They don't care about the play on words or outright lies. They just want you to go, "Ohhh! HID! XENON! WOW!!!" and then buy it.

the smallest HID I know of is the 10 watter they use in the UK dive lamp and some bicycle headlamps....but..who knows...maybe a 1 watt micro hid is physically possible
