I am building a torch that uses 7.2v to power a set of 4S XR-E LEDs and am trying to decide which driver to use out of Fatman and the Blue Shark. I've gone through cheaper options, and these two seem to be the best ones available for this application, although I can't find a way to decide which is better.
I would like to put about 1.2A through the LEDs, and the Fatman seems to top out at about 1A. I have not tried the Blue Shark.
Can anyone offer me any advice on this decision? Are these the two best drivers for this application? Which one would would be better?
