Hi folks.
Just ordered a Fenix TK41 flashlight and now I need to consider what batteries to use with it.
What would you guys recommend? Eneloop XX? Regular Eneloop?
I see that there's a next generation Eneloop XX out now (HR-3UWXB) with slightly better specs and self-discharge rate than the standard XX but I'm not finding any for sale other than from Ebay or other companies that I don't recognize. That's REALLY unappealing; I want my batteries to be genuine. I'm surprised that I'm not seeing these new XX batteries on Amazon or from Thomas Distributing.
Where are some good places to buy the Eneloop XX (HR-3UWXB)?
I'm thinking I saw some TK41 owners here mentioning that their flashlights worked better with the XX batteries over the standard Eneloops (something about the standard Eneloops causing a slightly green tint with the LED). Not sure if this is because they were able to draw power out of the XX batteries faster than the standard Eneloops?
Thoughts? Advice?
Thanks!
