Feit tends to be hit and miss with their choices of Chinese designs.
Are you referring to the 6 and 7 emitter floods @ $27 and $36 bucks? I have one of the 7 emitter ones.
The big danger with these is the heatsink; it has sharp edges on its thin heatsink fins that will cleanly slice your fingers if you aren't careful while installing them. I know this the hard way :P
It's relatively easy to tear down. Mine has 7 XP-G warms in it. Seems well built.
