About an hour ago (08:30 PM) I got in my car and drove about 10 metres until I realised that I had a flat tire . Luckily I was just outside my mates place, so I asked him to give me a hand and what do ya know, he had one of those 9LED AAA cheapos which was a tad dimmer then the E01.

So about 20 minutes later I was able to change a flat in the dark with only the E01 and a 9LED cheapo as light sources.

I've never "really" needed a flashlight before so this was quite a test for a light that I only recieved a little over a week ago, I'm glad I bought it as I was EDCing an M61W before I bought the E01:duh2:

Oh yeah, forgot the say thanks to the CPFers that recommended this light and to Fenix for still manufacturing it.

Goes to show you , you dont need much light to get thru an emergency . Sometimes I get caught up in the britest light craziness. Though you probably would have iked more light I am sure, that 10 lumens can be a life saver. The E01 is still a great light

Awesome!!! E-O1 saved the day!!! I just got two E-O1's. One for myself and one for my Girlfriend and we both love them! I am amazed at how much I ACTUALLY use it! Way more than I thought I would and as the wise members of this forum say, the best light is the one you have with you!

Excellent work having the E01 with you. I'll bet it did a better job than the other light, too. You deserve early flashaholic status.

Ah, yes, the Fenix E01. I swear, it is one of the best flashlights out there, in my opinion. It is so small, and so useful. I carry mine on a necklace almost 24/7 (not when I'm asleep, or showering). I would have to say it battles with my Ti Quark 123 in usage. When I'm too lazy to change the modes on the Quark, I just use the E01.
