hi i have a new little fenix E05 keyring flashlight, and just wondered what best AAA batteries to put in them.
i have some energizer ultimate lithium ones, and also can get some rechargeable eneloops.

i don't use it so often maybe once a day or so if that.

also if im right, i see the energizers are 1250mAh, and the eneloops are 800mAh........surely the energizers are longer lasting then right?.

just uncertain which is best for something so small as this, and its use wont be that much.

the specifications tell me to use Ni-MH) ........................
Fenix E05 R2 Specifications
  • Uses Cree XP-E LED with a life span of 100000 hours
  • Uses one 1.5 V AAA (Ni-MH, Alkaline) battery ( BUT MINE IS A LITHIUM ONE ) does that matter?.

thank you.

It's 2012, you really should try the search function or google.

Simple answer: If you're going through lots of batteries then get eneloops. If you barely go through batteries get Energizer Lithium.

Lithium primary is perfectly OK for use in your E05, also a good choice if you don't need to use it frequently. Negligible weight, virtually impossible leakage, excellent low temperature performance, ultra long shelf life - just to name few of its good points.

I'm using my E05 more frequently so I'm carrying it with one Eneloop inside and one in a container as a spare.

Cheers
