The head is quite a bit wider and the body slightly wider. Not a big deal, just makes for a slightly less pocketable light than before.

Can you measure the width of the head please?

I measured the outside head of the L1Tv2 at about 0.848" with some calipers. I'm not too good with them relatively speaking, so I'd just call it 0.850" thereabouts.

The website says 2.1 centimeters Diameter. Converted that came out around 0.82677" on a calculator program.

I'd say ~.83-.85" give or take.

edit: found my cheapo 1" micrometer. Has a better feel. Seems to measure about the same as the calipers, right about 0.850" or just a bit less. The L2D100 appears to be the same diameter.

Ok, phosphor, here's the L2D100 along with the L1Tv2

Here's another shot with the inner tube turned inside out on the L2D100. The tube has a better feel (more tacky) regular side out IMHO, so I switched it back. This picture gives you a better idea of the color too.
