I just read an awesome article in the November issue of "American Rifleman" about the first light mounted on a handgun! It was invented in 1911 by George Seely. He has the light mounted to a police positive 38 special. The 3 volt battery is mounted in the guns grip. The magazine had some awesome pics of the gun and light. Sorry in at work and can't post pictures. The light is activated when squeezing the grip. Thought I would share.
