First McGizmo!

So I just picked up my first McGizmo in the marketplace here. Its an original McLux with the original head. My question is what can I do to breath life into this piece of McGizmo history? New driver or drop in? Or should I just preserve it the way it is? I don't mind dumping some money into this light as I bought it for that exact purpose. You should leave it as it is. The light is a piece of history by itself. Don's tools has never been about monster lumens or bright leds.

The McLux is an interesting looking light, with some elements of the Haiku. I think that updating it to the latest possible emitter/driver makes sense. It's really a tribute to Don's work. Hard to make any suggestions, since have only seen pictures of the light and have no idea what is possible. My preference would be to upgrade to what a current Haiku has: S3 driver and XML emitter.

Ok guys here she is!

Still considering a new emitter so I will update this if I go ahead with the upgrades.
