First Solarforce Flashlight

This is my first Solapforce product. Ordered the L2P body, charger, 2 18650s, 1 mode XML drop in, and sheath from Solarforce HK($64.99+$2.00 shipping). Jo replied to my order right away saying it would take 1 to 2 weeks to arrive. And guess what 12 days later it did. The fit and finish is excellant. The anadizing is on par with my high end lights, as is the beam quality. Comparing the brightness to my other lights I would guess between 350 and 400 lumens not the stated 820. I knew this to be the case before I ordered but the actual lumen level is way more than enough for this size light IMHO. I have tried over the last two days to find flaw in this light but I can not. This is one great SF clone. It has a budget price but it is not a budget flashlight. I will be purchasing more. I see a L2T in my future.

I too am a SF fan. The L2T is rather nice. I have the three mode Manafont / Ultrafire XML dropin in mine. It's a compact powerhouse! I have three sand coloured L2's and a silver L2 also, and the Pro-1 head on an L2i body. Yes, I like them. :)

Got my first Solarforce, a standard L2, about two months ago. Now I have these 4. I think they're great, worth way more than the asking price.

The L2T is a Surefire C2 clone, just much cheaper and much more utilitarian, with much more lego ability. ;)

The L2P is also very nice, and the HAIII is top notch. Gives a very solid feeling when held.

Just received my first Solarforce light today (well, first ever decent flashlight for that matter). Standard L2 (but the new model I think, with the less-glossy anodising), with XM-L 3-mode drop-in. Took just over a week after ordering to arrive in the UK.

I'm seriously impressed with the light kicked out by it, although perhaps that's not surprising given that my previous flashlights were a) a circa 10-year old plastic body incancescent bulb 2xD-cell by Duracell, and b) a £1.99 from the petrol (gas for our American cousins)-station 3xAA 9-LED cheapy.

I have a suspicion that my new purchase may also become the first in a 'collection' like some of the others posting above :whistle:

Also bought the Solarforce L2 as my first solarforce flashlight.
I like the Lego set up, i think the next will be the Skyline.

I want them all!

I've been using my Solarforce L2 for 3 years and never have any problem with it.
They are cheap and very durable.

Got my new 2011 L2 the other day. Coupled with a Manifont (Ultrafire) XM-L T6 3 mode drop-in, a tail stand switch, and a stainless B3 bezel. This thing rocks!

Only Solarforce light I have is the MPP-1 head and it is awesome. The quality isn't as bad as I expected pleasantly surprised.
