Hello Folks,

In my watch hobby, I'm always switching the bracelets, straps and bands from one watch to another just for the heck of it and to see if I can find a different combination that I like. Well it was just a matter of time before I tried the same with flashlights.

Below are pics of a stainless steel Aurora SH-033 bottom (DX light) with a Quark mini 123 head and a Lumapower Incendio pocket clip. Let me just say that the Quark UI is outstanding using a clicky in this smallish form. This hybrid light stands 66mm in height and half pressing the reverse clicky to cycle through the modes is flawless...and yes, when you cycle through the L, M, H two consecutive times fast, you will access the hidden blinky modes.

The light is powered by a 3.0v rcr2 battery and though I certainly won't leave the light like this permanently, I will definitely carry it this way from time to time.

Here are the pics.

thanks everyone. It really is a fun light light with the clicky...if 47s sold the mini's with a clicky AND a bezel down clip that allowed deep pocket carry, I'd be all over that...multiple times.

what's that little stand the light is sitting on?
That's a top to these plastic coin tubes that I use to hold my backup batteries (you can see the tube off to the right in the back of pic 3 above). I'll post more detailed pics later but I have about 40-50 of these coin tubes that I bought to use for holding my poker chips for my poker tournaments (1 tube holds 20 poker chips).

As a battery holder, I can fit 2 CR123s, 1 18650, 2 AA nihms and 1 AAA nihm in one tube (see pics below). The height of the tube is exactly tall enough to properly fit a 18650 battery or 2 cr123 stacked on top of each other. I could fit 6 cr123s or 3 18650s or many AAA or AA sized batteries. I drilled a small hole in the top and the bottom of the tube as I wanted to make sure enough air was getting in there when the batteries are closed up (probably not necessary but I figured why not).

What I discovered last night is that the tops make excellent bezel down diffusers...the uses for these things seem to be endless.
