I'm looking for a flashlight to fill the role of a back-up light source. It needs to meet certain requirements
  1. use a single CR123 battery
  2. produce at least 200 lumens at its maximum output
  3. produce at least 50 lumens for at least 2 hours
  4. must be waterproof
  5. must cost less than $100 per unit

Other desireable, but not necessary features include
  1. flood > throw
  2. tan/FDE/coyote color
  3. weighs less than 1.5oz
  4. diameter less than 0.83"
  5. forward clickie with lock-out capability, while remaining waterproof
  6. infinitely variable output
  7. costs less than $50 per unit

Lights currently being considered follow:
  1. 4sevens Quark MiniX
  2. Nitecore EX 11.2
  3. Olight T10-T S2
  4. Sunwayman M10R
  5. JetBeam RRT-0
  6. Nitecore IFE-1

Check out my spread sheet that is part of my signature and that will give you a flashlight overview for some of the brands you mentioned.

Put on your consideration list the ITP SC1 Eluma, cree R5. Provides 230 lumens, 8 hours of runtime at 42 lumens, and has an infinite variable brightness control. It only costs $39.95. I have no idea of its waterproof capabilities though. I have one of these on order, but it has not arrived.
