Flashlight Saves Life!

Heard on ABC news, in the Phila area tonight. An assistant conductor on a Septa train fell off and was seriously hurt and was on the tracks for 2 hrs before a train came by. He was able to stop the train by shining his flashlight side to side! ( signal for train to stop- up and down is go )
He had serious injuries and they said the flashlight saved his life!
Hopefully the conductor will have a speedy recovery and this will have a happy ending.

Just another reason to EDC a light. I hope the conductor guy recovers alright.

Interesting story, thanks for sharing it. It doesn't matter much [to most people], but I wonder what kind of light it was.

I won't be surprised if the conductor was using a maglite....I have seen them use maglites anyway.
