for warm white use

looking for a warm use flashlight, but being warm, at the same time , what is the best range of warm for eye adaptation ?.
4300?.
was looking at the new ZL SC600MkII at 4200.
..they say the most best light taken in our eyes is at around 4300k.

i have the pd32ue, but at 5000k, not so sure on if my eyes would do better with a warmer light, good on my old eyes.


the warmer the better right?

Broadly speaking, 'warm white' is from about 2300K to maybe 3500K depending on whom you ask.
We tend to call it 'Neutral white' from there to about 4500 or 5000K
And past that, it's usually 'cool white.'

I quite like the 4000-5500K range of CCT myself. I've enjoyed my SC600w, and it's neutral white. The best CCT for a given task varies depending on the task.

Very true. I really like my PD32UE around 5000K. When I got my H600w (4200K) I found it a bit too warm but then realized how great it was while out backpacking this past weekend - no more eye-piercing blue snow like you get from cool whites! The warmer color made it so much easier to identify things in the woods and the gear in my pack.
